Trumpeter Chinese T-59 1/72

Hello all,

Just when you think you can settle back into the hobby life goes mad again!!!! Anyway this kit is another from the Trumpeter stable and a very nice kit to build as well. It is very similar to the T-55 kit  which I have put a few together so I had no real problems.
This is a great kit that goes together very well.

The turret MG is a cracking example even if I managed to snap it off during the build and had to reattach it.

The barrel like most Trumpeter kits is predrilled and realistic.

I used a Tamiya JA green spray can and a bit of MiG weathering dry mud.

The base is a Willis cobbled street that will be reused many, many times to come.

I did a slight umber wash and reckon I should have gone heavier with it. I reckon the Matt varnish spray has lightened it a bit to much.
Another great kit from trumpeter I just hope they do a T-72 or BMP soon a gap in the market I think. I will get another kit because I really want to try the camo scheme on it.

Cheers for looking,   Rich.
