Underfire miniatures WWII Polish Westerplatte Troops 1/72.

Hello all,

These are from the great under fire miniatures new Polish range. They centre around The battle of Westerplatte, a battle that I was unaware of till I saw these figures.
The first attempt at painting them was not that successful, they ended up looking more like Russians than anything. Trying to find pictures of WWII Polish naval uniforms on the net is a nightmare, trying to find colour pictures even harder! So please bare with me on the choice of colours.

Having now caught up at work I will no longer be working six days a week and will have a lot more time to reply to comments and other bloggers works of art. I have had a bit of a wobble with the standard of work lately and hope to get back in the groove (YEAH BABY,YEAH!).

PLEASE CLICK ON IMAGES FOR A LARGER VIEW AND ANY COMMENTS MORE THAN WELCOME.

Cheers for looking,   Rich.

With a little bit of conversion work, they could be change in Soviets during Afghanistan 80's war.

Really nice painted anyway.
