Hello all,
A different one for a change, I bought this set a while back and being a fan of the (if not quite accurate) Ridley Scott's "Gladiator" I had to give them a try. Again beer featured quite heavily in this project, but when doesn't it!
The plastic is quite HaT like, soft if you like. I have yet to try gluing them but I will give it a try.
I am not that hot on ancient figures armour and clothes so please bear with me.
The base is a simple glue and sand with a coat of Vallejo Iraqi sand topped off with MiG weathering pigment.
An interesting project with a few more to come!

Cheers for looking, Rich.

Good job. I'd rather have hot sand under my feet, than under my back!

I like your vignette!
good painting work on the figures and very realistic scenery!
Is the dead one a conversion?
(Pegasus release very good figs, but I didn't paint some yet...I will do... in the future!)
It looks I'm not the only one who likes colourfull clothes and shiny metals!
I like it. Paul is right, that skin colour is WOW!
Cheers
